Deb Buchman

My name is Deb Buchman, I grew up in Holt and married Michael Buchman, my high school sweetheart. right after we graduated. That was 42 wonderful years ago. I have lived in Mason my whole adult life.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Mike and I have raised our girls, Brandi and Sharri, here in Mason. They have blessed us with 3 beautiful grandchildren: Issac, Avery. and Ivey.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I started cosmetology school in my 20’s and opened my first salon in my early 30’s, Creative Cuts. Mike and I leased a building downtown Mason and renovated it. That spot now is an organic market. Opened my 2nd salon 12 years later called Enstyle, Mike and I did the renovating for that also ourselves. 5 years ago we built a house and I am blessed to have a full salon attached to it. I work part time now. This is a dream come true as I’m getting ready for the retirement years. I have a faithful following, for that I am blessed. I am a creative person, so hair styling is so much fun.
