Robert Adado

My name is Robert Adado. I grew up in Lansing, Michigan. I sold cars for 35 years in Lansing and in Mason.  Eight years ago I came to Mason and started working for Kelly Automotive Group.  Two years later I bought the business with my wife Beverly Adado and changed it to Adado Sales.  We became a trailer sales, tire sales, and service department.  We have a very blessed business and our business is blessed yearly.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My mom and dad owned a grocery store for 45 years called Sav-Way Markets of Lansing. We have a park named after my cousin, Louis Adado, Adado Riverfront Park. He was on the city council for 26 years. We have a good reputation and name in Lansing.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I worked in the grocery store for many years. I was good at it but I didn’t like it. I always liked working on cars and anything mechanical.  After they sold the grocery store I went and sold cars for about 35 years. I had my own car lot in Lansing but had to close it down due to the City of Lansing doing a sewer separation project and there was no access to my business! I was good at that too but I got tired of selling cars. I am now co-owner, along with my wife Beverly, of Adado Sales here in Mason, MI.
